about

The instrumental foundation sprang from the second half of the jam that yielded the previous song, "Punctuation Swiftly Appears." However, there are several notable omissions: the Telecaster, Volca FM, Volca Beats, and Alesis SamplePad4. Another contrast was that the Waldorf Streichfett, erased from the preceding song, is included here.

The lyrics were derived from the B. Davis archive of cut-ups, and they fortuitously integrated the title of the preceding song. These words were arranged a month following the original instrumental jam, and scratch vocals were made on the fifth of October. However, due to illness, the finalized vocals would not be completed until the twelfth. The multitrack evidence suggests there were eight distinct layers of vocals recorded, though not all appeared on the final mix. Finally, there were two stereo reverb tracks applied during postproduction.
